Are you doing a Facebook advertising campaign? Did you know that you can have a custom external URL in your advertisement and still redirect it to your Facebook page?

Yes, you can.

And expert internet marketer Perry Marshall tells us how to do it today on his Facebook page.

“Facebook advertising tip of the day: You CAN target your Facebook landing page with an ad that contains a custom headline,” Marshall writes. “To do this select “External URL” for the destination and put the URL of the Facebook Page in the URL field. Guess what? Facebook now automatically detects the destination is a Facebook Page and offers the LIKE button and other social credibility displays on your ad. Finally you can have custom headlines and social credibility!”

So there you go. Try it out and check the results. You should always be tweaking your online ad campaigns to see what’s working and what’s not. Don’t ever do the “set it and forget it” method.
