You can count me among those that were not dying to get in on Facebook’s IPO. It came out around $35 a share and that seemed laughable to many. I wanted no parts of it.
Maybe it’s not so funny now.
Yeah, Facebook is now bigger than IBM. As of the close of the market on Thursday, Facebook saw it’s worth grow to $208 billion and their stock price is sitting at $75.95.
If you want public relations or marketing advice from me, go for it. I’d be happy to share my knowledge. If you are looking for stock tips, I think you should visit https://www.stocktrades.ca/. That’s probably best for everyone and, most of all, your portfolio.
For the record, Facebook is also bigger than a number of gold-standard American companies, such as Verizon, AT&T, Coca-Cola, Walt Disney, Bank of America and Citigroup.
Changing of the guard? I’d say so.
