FacebookLookBackI’m sure you’re aware of the “Look Back” feature that Facebook rolled out to help celebrate the company’s 10th birthday. It’s kind of interesting if you haven’t seen it (I’m sure you have since everyone is posting their video to their news feed even though no one really cares about the Facebook history of someone they played high school basketball with years ago).

While it’s a cool feature, many complained that they didn’t like their video. Well, a Facebook rep told TechCrunch that there are plans to add an edit tool – which was supposed to be included in the launch, but wasn’t ready in time – so that you can tweak your video to exclude pictures of you and your ex on vacation in Maui.

“We will be launching an Edit feature soon that will allow people to change moments in their movies or update the ones they shared,” the rep said. “I don’t have exact timing at the moment, but this will enable people to remove a post from the movie that was pre-selected and change it to a different one.”

A 10-year recap of your Facebook history is one thing, but looking forward, it’s not difficult to imagine users being able to create a variety of tweaked automated videos of time periods and events. Could end up being really neat.

Maybe that’s why their stock is up over $64 today.
