You may or may not have noticed a recent Facebook issue with regards to notifications. It seems that somehow all the notifications for events and the like were reversed. In other words, if you asked not to receive certain notifications, you received them. And if you asked to receive certain notifications, you didn’t.
One could see how that’s annoying. Facebook acknowledged the problem Tuesday night in their “Known Issues” section.
“Some people are suddenly receiving email notifications for settings they had turned off, and the checkboxes are now checked. We are currently working on a solution to this problem,” Facebook said.
Well, it seems that those are now fixed, which is good news. You can go back to being annoyed by the notifications you haven’t blocked but have been meaning to.
